THE HONORABLE BRIAN D. MONTGOMERY

Brian D. Montgomery served as the United States Deputy Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 2020 to 2021. Montgomery previously served as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner from 2005 to 2009 and from 2018 to 2020. Montgomery is the only individual to serve as FHA Commissioner twice and under three U.S. Presidents (Bush, Obama, and Trump).

Cheryl Travis-Johnson is EVP and COO of VRM Mortgage Services. Since joining VRM in 2008, Dr. Travis-Johnson’s leadership has distinguished VRM among clients and within the industry by successfully delivering non-traditional solutions to mitigate losses from non-performing loans. She has helped VRM become a solution provider for mortgage servicing solutions while preserving communities nationwide. 

JANUARY TAYLOR, ESQ.

January Taylor is the Managing Partner and Co-founder of McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC.  She has over 20 years of real estate and creditors rights experience and has spent her entire career providing foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, REO, compliance, strategic planning and litigation services to banks, credit unions investors and servicers. Ms. Taylor also serves on the Board of Directors for Pink Peaches, Inc. a non-profit charity focused on supporting breast cancer patients, encouraging early detection, and providing research funding.

THE HONORABLE THEODORE (TED) TOZER

Theodore (Ted) Tozer served as the President of the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae) from 2010 to 2017. He has been a charter member on both National Lender Advisory Boards for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and also serves on the Board of Directors of PennyMac Financial Services, a mortgage originator, and is a non-resident fellow at the Urban Institute’s Housing Finance Policy Center (HFPC). 

INGRID JASCHOK

Ingrid Jaschok is the SVP of Homeowner Preservation at Cenlar. Previously, Jaschok was an SVP at Flagstar and Citi, where she assisted the team with a startup of Vulnerability Remediation in the Global Technology areas. Prior to Citi, she served in leadership roles with Auction.com, Freedom Mortgage, and Mr. Cooper. Jaschok won a 2019 Women in Housing Leadership Award for Diversity & Inclusion while at Mr. Cooper.

MICHAEL P. DEROSA, ESQ.

Michael P. DeRosa is a highly experienced Partner at Friedman Vartolo LLP, managing both litigation and transactional divisions. His practice focuses extensively on serving lenders, private investors, and financial institutions, specializing in navigating complex commercial and residential real estate litigation, title disputes, creditors’ rights, foreclosures, loan workouts, and loss mitigation strategies.

Mark A. Calabria served as the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), regulator of GSEs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, from 2019 to 2021, where he was instrumental in the federal response to COVID-19. He was formerly the chief economist for Vice President Mike Pence. Currently, Mark is a Senior Advisor at the CATO Institute and author of Shelter from the Storm: How a COVID Mortgage Meltdown Was Averted.
